The report include recommendations for the Brownfields of Peñuelas Technology Park (previously Union Carbide, LLC), CORCO West Lagoons, Oxochem, Caribe Isoprene, PPG Industries and other Brownfields in the Petro-chemical area of Guayanilla and Peñuelas, Puerto Rico

DISUR Presents Tourism Council

On March 24, 2010, DISUR presented a Council on Tourism at the Municipality of Guayama's Convention Center. Copresenters included the Chamber of Commerce of South Puerto Rico (CCSPR) and Porta Caribe. Among the themes developed during the activity include the following: New tourism investment in the South, specialized market sectors, the vision of tourism from the perspective of small inns, and the infrastructure necessary to develop a tourist hub.
